All employers have legal responsibilities to train their staff in case of fire and have a duty of care to their staff safety, these are found in The Health and Safety at work act 1974, Regulatory reform (fire safety) order 2005. Further to this all employees have a duty of care to ensure they act in a safe manner and are aware of their responsibilities should an incident or fire occur. Clear, correct and informative training is an essential part of your employees personal development to ensure they are confident and pro-active in your workplace fire safety. Training should take place at least on an annual basis.

The package we offer is a half days training which consists of a power point presentation on the science of fire and the behaviour of fire and smoke, it moves on to peoples behaviour around fire and then covers fire prevention and fire safety. The course then moves onto a practical demonstration where delegates can discharge extinguishers in a real controlled fire scenario using a specialist training rig. The second half of the training is based around the role of the fire warden within the work place.
