Safe Working At Height, Ladders And Stepladder Training
All employers have legal responsibilities to train their staff and have a duty of care to their staff safety. Working at height is one of the highest causes of work place fatalities and major injuries. The working at height regulations 2005 state that employers and those in control of any work at height activity must make sure work is properly planned, supervised and carried out by competent people. This includes using the right type of equipment for working at height.
Our detailed training package covers risk assessing and control measures associated with working at height and develops an understanding of looking at alternative solutions to simply using the first ladder available. At the end of the course delegates should be aware of safe working practices involved with working at height and have a knowledge of equipment available for tasks, if they cannot be avoided.
The package we offer is a half days training which consists of a power point presentation on safe working at height, included in the package.
